Beavers (6 – 8 years)

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members, and are between the ages of 6 – 8.

Boys and girls can join the youngest section in Scouting, Beaver Scouts, from their 6th birthday until they are 8 years old.

Beaver scout activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be and stay safe and most importantly making friends.

They often work as part of a team and belong to a ‘Lodge’ within their ‘Colony’ working together to complete challenges.

They have opportunities to take part in larger events with other Colonies across their District and County. These can include fun activity days, celebrations and camps. To find out more about Beavers activities, badges and awards click here: https://www.scouts.org.uk/beavers
